Bat Survey

We are aware that  there are some species of Batsa t the Sandbeds

We are plan ning to Do a Bat Survey to establish exactly which species have made their hom at Barnfied Sandbeds. This Survey will be undertaken in the next few months. We have access to a bat detectr/recorder to use inestablishing which species are found.
The Bat Conservation Trust has a sound library of all of the UK Bat species
If you have seen or heard any bats within the Sandbeds please contact us on our e-mail address with the date, time and location, this will assist us in the survey as we will know where to carry out a survey
We are planning to ierect around 15 Bat Boxesand the survey will help us to site them in areas where bats are evident. In time we will have a Bat fact sheet on the web site and a list of the species of bats found at the Sandbeds.We will forward any sightings to the Bat Conservation trust.
Bats and thier roosts are protected by law and we hope that you will all respect that.
